Withdrawal and Refund Policy - Parents may receive a tuition refund for summer programs up to 1 week before camp starts, minus the $50 deposit fee. Parents may transfer all the tuition to another camp if space is available.  1 week before camp begins, no camp payments will be refunded.


Camp Payments - Parents pay a $50 deposit to hold their child's spot in a Summer Program. The $50 deposit is non-refundable. The balance must be paid 2 weeks (14 days) before the camp begins. Spotlight Theater will send an invoice before the final payment is due.

Musical Theater Summer Programs

Spotlight Theater Summer Programs offer
week-long lessons that are designed to create an intensive musical theater experience, and are focused on building acting, vocal and dance skills.

Typical summer programs include rotations through drama, dance, music, audition workshops and rehearsals for the weekly production. Each week will end with an impressive showcase for family and friends.

 

June 3rd - 7th - The Greatest Show Stoppers! (ages 9-16)
Music and scene selections from The Greatest Showman
This program offers intermediate dance technique in both tap and jazz, along with developing each student’s acting skills. Students will perform musical and scene selections from The Greatest Showman for family and friends at the end of the week.
Requirement - jazz shoes, tap shoes


June 10th-15th - Hamilton Highlights - (rated PG for mild language - ages 11-18)
Get ready to be "in the room where it happens." This program focuses on hip hop and jazz dance as well as current musical theater rap/hip hop style music.  It will also include intermediate acting lessons as we put together some of your favorite songs and scenes from Hamilton. - Requirements -jazz shoes


June 17th-21st - Disney’s Alice in Wonderland - (ages 7-11)
Travel down the rabbit hole and join Alice, one of literature’s most beloved heroines, in her madcap adventures. This is a beginning program to grow the early performer.  It will include traditional Musical Theater dance combinations, focus on necessary vocal techniques and beginning acting lessons and skills. - Requirements -jazz shoes

June 24th - 28th - Wicked - (ages 9-16)
So much happened before Dorothy dropped in!  Wicked looks at what happened in the Land of Oz from a different angle. This program will focus on intermediate Musical Theater skills.  Some dance, vocal and acting experience is encouraged. This program will move on from beginning theater skills into deeper acting and vocal skills.  It will incorporate more challenging dance routines and longer dance lessons. - Requirements -jazz shoes

Teen Troupe - 2 Week Intensive
Newsies - June 17- June 28th

(no class June 22nd & 23rd) (ages 12-18) 5:00pm-8:00pm
It's time to carry the banner on stage with Disney's Newsies! Set in turn-of-the century New York City, Newsies is the rousing tale of a charismatic newsboy and leader of a band of tap dancing "newsies."
This 2 week intensive program will focus on beginning/intermediate tap and jazz skills.  All skill levels are welcome, but dance lessons will move quickly. It will also offer Intermediate/Advanced acting and vocal training.
