Studies have proven that participation in the arts benefits every young person in many ways. Youth who take part in the arts build self-esteem, perform better in class, and generally find more satisfaction in life.
We invite you to join us in a letter- and email-writing campaign to create more opportunities to let young actors like yours shine in the spotlight. In just 15 minutes, you can make a tremendous difference! Here’s how you can help:
The Spotlight Theater Booster Club is a non-profit 501(c)(3)*. Every donation you, your friends, or your family members make is tax deductible. Every cent you give goes directly to supporting your young actors.
Thank you for your continued support of Spotlight Theater!
You can write your own, unique message. But, if you are having trouble figuring out what to say, try the sample letter below!
"Dear [Your Relative's or Friend's Name],
Spotlight theater has been my second home since I started acting there. I am having a lot of fun in our current production of [Addam's Family/Shrek]. We have big dreams for our acting troupe, but we need support to achieve them. We need new tech equipment, costumes for our upcoming productions, and to save for a more permanent home in the future.
Theater and the Arts are very special to me, and I would love to ask for your support helping to meet my personal Fundraising Goal of $250. Our theater's goal is to raise $10,000 for an improved theater space and equipment.
Every dollar you donate goes directly to my fellow actors and me; just one dollar goes a long way. And, since our booster club is a non-profit, your contribution is tax deductible!
You can visit bit.ly/spotlight-winter-campaign to contribute. Or, you can send a check to the theater with the memo "Spotlight Theater Fundraising Campaign/[your name]."
